I was born and raised in Albany, NY and attended Albany High School. I studied baking and pastries as part of the school's vocational program and enjoyed great success in this program and local competitions. These experiences led me to a national competition as the representative for New York State where I placed second out of fifty competitors representing their respective states.
A continued passion for baking guided me to one of the best culinary schools in America - Johnson and Wales University in Providence, RI, where I graduated with a degree in Baking and Pastry Technology. After graduating from Johnson and Wales, I was employed as a pastry chef for several bakeries and restaurants, including Leo's Bakery, The Vanilla Bean and The Inn at Saratoga.

I was born and raised in Albany, NY and have lived locally my entire life. At a young age, I learned the basics of cooking and baking from my mother and grandmother, who are both Italian immigrants and share some excellent recipes and cooking techniques. I attended Christian Brothers Academy and then Siena College. I graduated from Siena in 2004 with a degree in Marketing and Management.
Having several jobs throughout high school and college in the food industry combined with some great family recipes, a solid education focused in small business and the support of my family and friends I decided to open my own business with Dan.
